Sandy Reid (co-opted)
Born in Aberdeen, I served in the Royal Navy for 24 years. I then moved to Berkshire, where I was a governor and, eventually, Vice Chairman of the board of governors for the village Primary School, for over 6 years. I was also otherwise involved with the school, being a member of the Parent/Teachers’ association, and coached the school football team on Saturdays.
Having moved to Hertfordshire after my retirement, I am very keen to be involved with the local community, especially with Watton at Stone school, where both of our grandchildren are pupils.
I was co- opted onto the board of governors in September 2019. I still have voluntary work with three small charities in Berkshire.
